
Hi ! I'm Kate.
I have always been the friend who showed up with coffee and a ridiculously perky attitude to move you into your new place. It's just a fun way to spend the day! I also know that every move is a fresh start and I love that.
My career as a move manager and organizer started in an unlikely place...the film industry. After years as an Executive Assistant to a producer, I started traveling in advance of the crew to set up the production office in each city where we filmed on location. From New Orleans to Las Vegas and on to Park City (and more!) I coordinated our office space, lodging, and local services so that the executives, actors, and film crew could come in and do their work. It was a dream job.
I went out on my own in 2010 after having kids (another dream job!) and expanded from moving businesses to also moving families. I love that every client and every move is different. We plan for everything possible and handle the surprises that pop up. No project is too big, no detail is too small. I've helped countless people, families, and businesses move forward to their next chapter.
Born and raised in La Canada, I currently live in beautiful Altadena with my family, including two feisty cats and a very patient dog. I love a good book, jigsaw puzzles, watching movies, traveling, hiking local trails, setting up a campsite, and British cooking TV shows.
